If you want to contribute to the collection, you may access to http://picasaweb.google.com/ and login with user name hciartemisgradnite08. The password is our school name (small case, no spacing) + this year (2 digits), ie. 10 letters/numbers in total. Please do not change the password.

Try to upload with ORIGINAL SIZE (slowest) if you use plugin or Picasa to uload. 1G should be enough.

And can create a new album for your uploads and name the album with "by xxx" so that we can avoid duplications?

I've also added the name tags to most faces. After you log in into Picasaweb (if you have an account, i.e. Google Account), you can see the list of faces. You can click on the faces for all the photos with you inside.
(there may be some errors as faces are recognised by machine and I haven't checked all of them.

PS: you may need to change the language to "English (US)" (click "Settings" on the top right corner) to enable name tags.

Class Video Coming Soon

Class video has been completed. The second part doesn't have any animations and funny notations because making and integrating them into the video is very tedious. The music for this part is from the instrumental version of 北京欢迎你, and I've abridged it to about 2min. Lyrics are recomposed for our class, in Chinese:

Updates about class video

This is a screen shot at the end of the first minute. I've finalized this part, i.e there will be no further changes for above picture, as the rendering process is damn tedious and unstable.

The music for this part is from "Animage Best Symphony", an album released by 久石譲 in 1991 for 宮崎駿's early anime. The title of this symphony is デッキブラシでランデブー (No.17 in the disk).

Support Olympics

2008.08.08 08:08pm starts the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony in Bird Nest.

This time seems that we are unable to watch live through the Internet as all the video streaming web sites in China have district restrictions for their services due to copyright issues.

Anyway this is once in a lifetime, so watch it (since we have nothing much to do during national day..)

National Day Celebration Photos

This blog hasn't been activated for long. As Ivan required, I tried to change the theme -- and I found that I was really confused by the XML/Html codes~Nonetheless, I changed it, though it looked a bit ugly...

Because of the request for video-taking from one of the CIP groups, I sat in the front of the hall for today's celebration with some of our junior classmates.
